Your article in the new (Oct. 2001) issue of Woodworker's Journal presents a nice little router jig. Two main things I like about it are 1)its simplicity...no frills, to the point and job-specific, and 2) your presentation of alternatives in its construction. Not everyone can drill a straight hole 4 1/2" deep through 3/4" plywood, and your method of lining a groove with a drinking straw was innovative! I always appreciate reading articles which give me choices in how to do something.
Clear writing, good illustrations and complete in details. I don't see myself right now needing to do 20 hinge mortises, but I'll definitely save the article. Good job. -Barb S. PS- And, you're the only woodworking writer I know with his own fold-out!
