looking for a possible mentor

I live in central Wyoming and am looking for someone in the area that might be able to be a mentor to me. I am a young stay-at-home mom that would love to learn how to make things. There is nothing better than the smell of wood!! There are classes at the college but I am finding them very hard to get to. I am hoping to find someone with a little more flexibility, schedule wise, that might be willing to teach me the ropes.
