Now that we can easily upload images, I'd like to see more photos of what people are working on.
Here is a little box I just finished for the birth of a new grandchild. It is from a design by Carol Reed (The Router Lady) and is listed in her section of Pat Spielman's 'The Art of the Router.' It is called a 'Blessing Box,' for baby's first tooth, a first curl of hair, or any keepsake. I'm happy with this project because I did it from scratch: resawed a chunk of sycamore, hand planed it to dimension (too short to go through the planer) and then made the jig for the box joints. It is finished with Watco Natural Oil finish, and then waxed. Hope you like it! -Barb S.

Nice work Barb. How does the top slide, sliding dovetails or dado?

LOL, you are correct. Often the terms are interchangeable however the correct would be groove for the sides since grooves run with the grain.
