Hi Kay..this looks great..Sorry I just posted a message in the old forum..Didnt realize this was here until I got to work..I have it all bookmarked at home right to the forum, but not at work..When I checked messages at work, it took me here..This looks great and the image feature will be great..Thanks, Marcia
I spent a few days going to the usual site and wondering "where is everyone? I guess they're very wrapped up in their projects"
Yes, i did see some note about "Archive", but i didn't think anything of it. espcially when i saw the occasional new reply to an old post.
Can't believe "it" didn't register with me sooner. In fact, in retrospect, it's embarassing. But I write this post in part to say a clearer message might help some of us and, in part, to say i'm glad this forum is as delightful as ever. Hope everyone gets (back) here soon.
Yo--This new site is great. Just registered and am now going to have take some time to read all the postings. So someone point me to my chair and I'll sit and read awhile. Nice to see we have a few new wwk's. Regards Mike
Does this new software have spell check? I'm the world's worst speller. And,.......I haven't figured out how to use the emotion icons yet. Other than than that, I like this new forum software.
I like many features of this new forum software, but I miss one thing from the old software: It used to be easy to find not only the topics with new messages, but also the new messages themselves. This new software only seems to mark the former -- unless I am missing something, which would come as no great surprise! Also, what does the "flame" icon signify?
Aha! I found out an answer to my first question -- if you click on the "Expand the threads" link, it not only expands the threads (ie, it shows links to all the messages in each thread) but also indicates which messages are new. I guess I'll keep experimenting ... still can't figure out what the flame is all about!
