Mortise & Tenon Machines
Hi everybody! I'm just finishing setting up my new shop and want to purchase a mortise & tenon machine. It's something I never had room for in the old one and know it would be a nice addition. I was looking toward a powermatic or multico. Any ideas would be appreciated. Space is definitely not an issue, so big is o.k.

RE: Mortise & Tenon Machines
Scrollwoman,
I sell industrial woodworking equipment, so "big" means something different to me
Are you looking for a square chisel mortiser?
Typically, mortisers and tenoners are two different pieces of equipment.
A square chisel mortiser can be as small as a benchtop unit, all the way up to freestanding. If you are looking for a larger production machine, contact a few equipment dealers in your area and have them show you what they carry.
Hope this helps,
Ralph
