Female Friendly classes in Orange County, CA

We are a small company co-owned by me (a woman). http://www.ccfinefurniture.com
We have a female apprentice (all the shops in the area thought we were crazy at first, and are now often jealous).

We are looking to hold some small classes. Our head woodworker has 20years of experience in the furniture building/ woodworking business. He also has a special affinity for heirloom quality techniques.

We have noticed that at this point ALL of our interest has been from women, many of which have expressed concerns about the instructor having problems with them being women.

So. . let's turn that thought process around.

We would like to make the classes project driven.
I'm looking to see how much interest there is out there for this.

Would these classes be hands on? That is, would each student make her own piece or just the instructor?
