Picnic table out of 1 sheet of plywood
My father once made me a small picnic table out of 1 sheet of plywood. I would like to know if anyone has the pattern. Thanks

RE: Picnic table out of 1 sheet of plywood
Jan,
Years ago Popular Science and US Plywood would do these kinds of projects. I did a search on www.google.com [picnic table plywood] and came up with this: http://members.aol.com/postmark92/picnic.htm Looks very good ... probably not the one you were thinking of but it looks workable.

Thank you very much, John Lucas. I really appreciate the time you took to help me. My father has passed on and there was no way I knew of to get this information. Also, thank you for turning me on to Googles.com. I spent a lot of time there last night looking up all sorts of topics. Jan

glad you had fun with google. ALso get familiar with: www.yahoo.com, www.ask.com and www.excite.com
You would think they would all be searching the same raw data, but I find that they have their own ways...and if at first you don't succeed...

Internet Search Engines
First, John, you are a gem. You are so generous with your time and advice. I learn so much just from reading your responses to others' questions. And, of course, visiting that fabulous website of yours. Thank you.
Second, I'd like to add another suggestion as far as Internet search engines go. I spend a good portion of each day conducting web seaches for patrons, and my favorite engine, by far, is Dogpile. For anyone who hasn't tried it, it's a meta-search engine, which means it searches most of the other major search engines. You simply type in your keywords once and you get a list of results from Google, Yahoo, Alta Vista, Hot Bot, etc. It's simple, effective form of one-stop web information shopping. Just go to www.dogpile.com. There's even a joke of the day!

Ditto on Alice's Thank You
I feel the same way, John Lucas, and always learn something from your helpful postings and web pages. Thank you from me, too.
And Alice, thanks to You for the search engine tip...I'd never heard of dogpile. The Internet is a great resource, but learning more efficient ways to use it is always a good thing.

Alice and Barb,
I appreciate your kind words more than I can say. I guess the one thing I like more than woodworking, are nice people who enjoy woodworking.
And Alice, I fetched. Dogpile is cool. My Samantha thinks it is neat that her human has found it.
