    "burning in a logo"

I just got a contract to make 100 small jewelry boxes. The client wants his logo "burned" into the lid. I have a vague memory of a discussion about using a laser to do this. Does anyone know how I can get this done? Or, can anyone here do this? I'll sub out that part of the job. Maybe we can cut a deal. Thanks.

Look in you local phone book for "Engravers", and inquire that way.

You might also want to look up "Epilog" online. They make the engravers and may well be able to provide you with a customer list in your area.

Lastly, depending on the complexity of the logo, you might be able to have a wood burning die made. The cost would amortise well over a run of 100 units.

    Hope this helps,

Handi has good suggestions. You might also check with local sign shops or trophy makers shops.

Have you checked into the custom branding irons? Found a big range in prices and options... depending on the size you want and the artwork or logo.

I'm interested in getting a branding iron for my pokerwork, to put my logo on tags or on the item. Saves time and keeps it consistant.
