woodworking school in CO????
This may stretch some memories, it's killing mine. But a few years ago, (or maybe more), there were a group of women who were going to put together a woodworking school, for women, in Colorado. Does anyone remember that? If you do, does anyone know how I can get in touch with these women? Whether they were successful or not, I'd like to talk to them. Thanks.

I remember this from the Gallery http://www.womeninwoodworking.com/ga...omensguild.cfm
but I tried to get to the web site and for me it did not come up.
I don't personally know if they are still operating, maybe the someone else can give you some other ideas.

RE: woodworking school in CO????
Don't think it flew. I talked with a couple of the principles some years ago. I do know they are no longer together. Further, the one left in Colorado was not the 'practical' one in that partnership. She would have required more business sense to pull this off by herself. So I am not surprised you did not luck out.
I kicked around the idea of a woodworking school for a while. Many, many expensive obstacles to overcome. Ruled that idea out. It was hard enough attracting a few students from time to time. Certainly didn't pay many of the bills, I can tell you. And I was afraid to try to figure out the 'hourly wage' of the effort expended. It would have been too discouraging.
