New Forum
With all of the changes I'm not sure everyone noticed that you can send a private message to another member. For this to work we should check our "In Box" every so often.
Thanks

RE: New Forum
Good point, John P -
If we'd all use that feature (the inbox is accessible in the Lobby, as is the
User icon for updating profiles) it would cut down on all the simple
'Thank Yous' that register as new messages. I'll try to do private
e-mails for those from now on. Thanks. ;-) -Barb S.

RE: New Forum
John,
Thanks for pointing out that we should check our inboxes regularly and thanks Barb for telling us how to do that. The one thing I really like about this forum is how willing everyone is to share information and that we all learn from each other.
I didn't check my inbox until today and found I had a message posted almost a week ago. Sorry Handi.
This new software has so many features that it will take awhile to learn them all. As you could tell I didn't register for my first post and showed up as a guest. So for all of you that registered before on the old forum, you need to register on the new forum if you don't want to be listed as a guest.
I have enjoyed seeing the pictures and graphics that you've been posting along with your messages. I think as we go along we'll see that a picture is truly worth a thousand words when trying to explain a technique or a procedure.
Let us know if you come across some great new feature that hasn't yet been mentioned.

RE: New Forum
One question? Is there a way to read what you have posted to someone in the private messages?..I have been able to go back to the inbox and read what someone has sent to me but cant find what I wrote to them? Thanks MarciaD
