What are the forum rules regarding solicitation ?

We make a product that the group may be interested in. Is it OK to mention it (once), or are all such things frowned upon.

Thank you for asking about our rules.

Our forum is for discussion about ideas, philosophies, techniques, and does include discussion about great products, but we do not allow direct solicitation from the vendor on the forum.

If you wish to let woodworkers know about your product, you can do so in the following ways. You can purchase a banner ad on our site. You can go to our links page and put in a request to be listed as a link. You can also sign your posts with your website link but telling/selling us about your product through the forum is as you said frowned on.
