Found small vanity (?)chair - all wood (unknown variety) . The seat is made of (about) 3 or 4 pieces of 3/8" wood glued together on top of the seat frame. I'm thinking the grain is probably turned 90 degrees for each layer (for strength) - yes? no?

Any special tips for gluing?

Wish I could send picture - really unique chair otherwise I wouldn't go to all this trouble.
