As I get older I find that my hands do not work as well as they have in the past. Here is one thing that I have done which helps in getting a grip on things.

I will replace small knobs with replacements which are easy to make and work very well. I take the screw off tops from various containers, fill them with a mix of epoxy and sawdust place a bolt or screw in the middle and let cure. I have used the tops from oil bottles, kitty gritty mayo. jars etc. They all work and are easier to grab and hold on too.

I have a 8" c-clamp which lost the sliding handle I kept replaceing it with bolts, nails etc. they either bent or got lost. I used a kitty gritty lid, put a nail through the hole in the c-clamp, stuck it in the lid with the epoxy and sawdust and let cure. No more problems.

I hope this will help someone else.
