    Looking for instructions

    Hi just joined the woodworking sites and I am interested in taking instructions or classes. Any thought on where I should look. I am located on the eastern shore of MD, How have you learned your wood working skills

    We don't live very far apart. I am just several miles outside of Urbanna Va.

    Several years ago I wanted to learn how to cut dovetails by hand and learn the correct way to use hand tools. I went down to NC and took a class with Ben Hobbs. I was there 5 days and 4 nights. The Hobbs alos run a bed and breakfast. Lodging there was reasonable and the food was very good. I was more than pleased with what I learned in those 5 days.
