Hi - I'm new to this site. Anyone else out there from Massachusetts (or Rhode Island, I'm right on the border)? I've been dabbling in woodworking on and off for about four years, but have recently retired so I plan to spend some quality time with my power tools. I look forward to chatting with someone who shares my interest. All my friends want me to take cooking lessons and can't for the life of them undersand why I prefer woodworking.

Hi,
I'm on Cape Cod. I know what you mean about cooking vs woodworking...although knowing both is helpful!
What kind of projects do you like to do? I've been dabbling all my life (own a house = dabble!) and just started some projects about a year ago. I made all my Thanksgiving/Christmas gifts this year and am on to next year's gift projects.

Hi, I'm in Westport, MA. I really enjoy turning. When I have more time, I would like to learn more about carving, woodburning, etc. I belong to the Ocean Woodturners (the RI woodturning club), it's a nice group of folks. -DonnaP
