Crafts students begin their academic career with courses designed to give them a foundation in a number of different materials. By the end of their sophomore year, students typically concentrate in one of the following disciplines: ceramics, fiber, glass or metalsmithing and jewelry design. Some may choose an interdisciplinary path that integrates several disciplines in a format of mixed media and hand-crafted furniture. |
